About Us

Cam-Tec Security (dba: Bierend Custom Security) was first established in 1984 by Richard Bierend. In the early 1970's, Richard was working as a motorcycle cop until a motorcycle accident forced him to retire from the force. In 1984, after recovering from his accident, he decided to start a security company to continue his passion for protection. Richard ran a successful security business until he passed away in 2008, when his son, David, decided to follow in his footsteps and continue the family business. 

Since 2010, Cam-Tec Security has been the leader in home security systems and installations for the greater Los Angeles area.
